The different styles:

New Era

2014 MLB Memorial Day Camo Cap, 59FIFTYNew Era is the official on-field cap of Major League Baseball.  It’s an important brand in the MLB world.  Obviously we feature of ton of different styles of New Era caps. You can find a 59fifty style. Which is typically a high crown hat that can be worn with a bent or flat bill.  It’s the hat that all Major League baseball stars wear on the field.   It’s New Era’s backbone.  It’s typically the style they use when they introduce new technology such as the Diamond Era.


2014 MLB New Era 2 tone 39thirty

New Era also makes a 39thirty.  Which is their low crown option.   It’s a fitted size with a lower crown than the 59fifty.   You can only wear this one with a curved bill. The other popular version is their 9fifty.  This is their snapback style.  This is a style that will sit taller on the wearers head and typically worn with a flat bill.

Another note about where to buy New Era’s.

47 Brand Hats

47 Brand Ripley HatA 47Brand hat is know for the Franchise line.  47 Brand is perfect for those that are looking for the low crown, torn and tattered, full on gameday version that you might think of when heading to the baseball field. They have tinkered with some flat bill snapback lines, but they are really hard to find and really hard for my retail partners to keep in stock.  (so they should probably make more)

Although Nike is a small player in the MLB cap market, they do roll out some popular lines.  The most popular is their Dri-Fit line, which uses the same dri-fit technology that is built into their football uniforms and their performance wear.
